Hi, I’m Gail Keller, founder and owner of Gail’s Scoop… Keeping JoCo KS Moms Informed™.

I have been a stay-at-home mom since relocating to Overland Park in 2004.  We relocated from the east coast when my husband got a great job opportunity.  We have a 7 1/2 year old son and a 5 year old daughter in the Blue Valley school district and we absolutely love it here. Although we do miss the ocean and the pizza!

I was born and raised in Huntington, New York (Long Island). I have a B.A. from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. from Hofstra University.  Before becoming a stay-at-home mom I spent over ten years designing and developing training programs and delivering them throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. It was wonderful to travel and experience different cultures.

I wanted to utilize my love for research and training along with my passion to help others succeed. When weekends rolled around we were always searching on line for what fun activities were going on.  We would hear about events or great sales the day after they occurred.  I thought other parents must be in the same boat. I launched Gail’s Scoop…Keeping JoCo Kansas Moms Informed™ in April 2009 with the mission of providing Johnson County, Kansas moms with free and timely information to help keep them up to date on health and safety issues, plan family fun and save money in their daily lives. Corporate training is all about gathering the right information, putting it in an easy to understand format with the goal of helping others succeed in their jobs. Gail’s Scoop is very similar. I help moms do their job every week, whether it is to plan a family outing, to keep their kids safe, or to get great deals on the stuff their family needs.
